Split between two cultures but never truly belonging in either, Nic Lim is your average Easterner born and raised in the West.

"Gate at the End of Summer" is his debut novella. It is a story heavily influenced by his time working as an assistant language teacher at a Japanese high school during the COVID pandemic

Nic graduated with a degree in Creative Media Production at Massey University, New Zealand. In his writing, he likes to dabble in themes of humanity and conflict.

In his spare time, Nic plays too many games, while also desperately studying Japanese. He hates that he currently lives in a place that’s utterly devoid of good places to karaoke.
